The new Arena will host up to 2,000 seats and offer high level Ice Hockey games.

Nick Payne, Director of ICITIES, commented:
"We are pleased to announce our second Arena development this year" says Nick Payne of ICITIES.
"After a long search for a new Ice Arena site in the West Midlands we are delighted to have found this prime location in the centre of Dudley. The council have been a pleasure to work with and recognise that this development will bring around 50 new jobs to the region and enhance the local and region economy."
Nick went on to say "Importantly the development will be served by the West Midland Metro, sitting between the Dudley Interchange and Flood Street stations. Showing an example of why the new Metro expansion is bringing new investment and community facilities to the wider West Midlands region."
In addition a new Drive Thru coffee restaurant will be offered on the neighbouring site.
Planning will be submitted in the autumn 2026 and building work will start in 2027.
ICITIES have signed a contract with Dudley BC to build a new Ice Hockey and Ice Skating venue on Flood Street in the centre of the town.
Dudley is seeing significant growth and as part of this growth the development of a premier sport venue, next to the new tram stop will give another 'first' for the town.
